We have enrolled in a wonderful fundraising program called InkBank Cartridge Recycling.

This program offers us an almost effortless way to raise money for HS-USA and the Hidradenitis Communities – and to protect our planet. We earn money simply by recycling used printer, fax and copier cartridges that were destined for the trash.

Most of the inkjet and laser printer cartridges used in our homes, our workplaces and businesses in our community have a high recycling value – from $1.00 to as much as $14.00 each.

InkBank pays us cash for every eligible cartridge we collect.

Since more than 87% of all computer printer inkjet and laser cartridges end up in landfills, the potential for us to earn a significant amount of money through recycling is almost unlimited.

As long as we participate, we’ll continue earning cash. Fundraising couldn’t be easier. There’s nothing to buy, nothing to sell, and no cost for participation.

Here’s how you can help

• Save the cartridges you use at home and at your office.
• Save old cell phones as well.  
• Ask friends, family and employers to help support our fundraising efforts. InkBank provides additional recycling bags and boxes so that the cartridges can be collected in multiple locations.
• InkBank also pays for shipping and can pick up boxes from your workplace or other businesses upon request. The collection materials are also postage prepaid and can be dropped in any mail box. Let us know if you would like supplies to help us collect more cartridges.
• Collect only eligible cartridges.
  It is very important that we collect only the cartridges that are eligible for recycling. (Unfortunately, Epson inkjet cartridges are not recyclable)
• Keep up the momentum
  When you make recycling a habit, we’ll continue raising money with no effort.
